SAP migration project trainee

Secure Land Communications (SLC), an Airbus business unit, offers advanced communication and collaboration solutions to gather, process and deploy intelligence. Its portfolio is tailored to the needs of Public Safety, Defence and Transport, Utility and Industry (TUI). It includes infrastructures, devices, applications and services based on Tetra, Tetrapol and Broadband technologies (either single, hybrid or multi-technology solutions). As the European leader and a key international player, SLC has customers in more than 80 countries and employs around 1,150 people in 17 countries. In Finland, Airbus Defence and Space Oy employs around 350 people in Helsinki and Jyväskylä.

The telecommunications division of Airbus in Finland is now looking for a trainee to support in SAP migration project in our Helsinki office. This is your chance to participate in international large-scale SAP project work from the viewpoint of user acceptance testing.

You get to work with interesting things

You will be working with a variety of tasks linked to user acceptance testing. Starting point for your work is to understand test strategy and test cases. Your working days will include coordination of key users (in Finland and France), reporting of progress of testing and documenting the results. Supporting other task within the SAP migration project (e.g. coordination of training activities) is also part of your work.

What we expect of you

You are studying for a technical profession, preferably in information technology or related fields. Advanced studies (bachelor degree level studies completed) is required. Experience in SAP ERP is needed in this position and experience with SAP S4 Hana is appreciated. Strong communication skills in English language skill is a prerequisite and other languages are seen as an advantage. You will be working in a multicultural environment with team members in multiple locations (Finland, France, Spain) so good team working skills are expected as well as experience in working remote work mode.

The contract starts as soon as possible and continues until end of January 2021. The position is full-time for August 2020 and part-time (negotiable 3-4 days a week) during September 2020 –January 2021.
