We are now looking for an IoT trainee to join our Tetra Infra SW team in our Helsinki office. The IoT Trainee is responsible for supporting software development and testing of IoT products in the Tetra system.

You get to work with meaningful tasks

• Participate in PoC (Proof of Concept) project concerning Tetra IoT products

• Building simple data orchestration and visualization capabilities

• Proposing how to utilize data analytics solutions from wearable devices and how to integrate them in data orchestration solution

• Proposing technical improvements and ensuring the product upgradability and maintainability

• Other relevant tasks that can be agreed with the manager

What we expect of you

You are aiming for a BSc or MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Cloud or Telecommunications. Airbus is committed to offering students meaningful work experience in the early stages of their career so please note that our trainees need to have a student status throughout their employment. We value programming language experience in React, Kotlin and C++, knowledge in IoT related protocols, especially LwM2M, and understanding of different IoT platforms and their main components. Knowledge of the IoT platform and device security concepts is appreciated. A fluent English language skill is a prerequisite and other languages are seen as an advantage.

The duration of the trainee period is 8 months and will start in May. The position is full-time during Summer 2023 and part-time (2-4 days a week) during other times.

The position requires basic security clearance approval from Finnish authorities.
