Our telecommunications division of Airbus Defence and Space is looking for an experienced Customer Support Engineer to join our Customer Maintenance for Tetra Infrastructure team in Helsinki.
The team is responsible for supporting Airbus solutions in the field and manage customer requests. Customer Support Primes provide telephone, remote or field assistance for Airbus D&S end-customers and for regional Airbus D&S teams world-wide. As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to our customers and local engineers worldwide as well as act as a point of contact for queries and support from the regions, resolve complex faults and analyze their impact.
We are developing and maintaining complete telecom solutions for our worldwide customers, so with us you have the opportunity to use these systems in our laboratories for end-to-end troubleshooting.
Your main responsibilities
- Managing customer requests
- Providing technical support
- Investigating incidents and problems reported by customers to our help desk
- Providing resolutions and corrections with support of R&D
- Participating in the technical preparation of roll-out or upgrade operations
- Supporting the solutions proposed.
What we expect from you
We expect you to have a degree in computer science, telecommunications or related fields and that you have a customer support oriented mindset, and of course that you have good spoken and written English skills. The position requires basic security clearance approval from Finnish authorities.
We also appreciate if you have other technical experience in for example:
- Modern high availability systems and platforms, clustering, redundancy including geo-
redundancy and load distribution
- Server technology, Microsoft Windows Server, linux, and virtualization
- IT solution architecture
- IP protocol, networking and backhauling (VoIP, Mobile IP, VLAN, VPN, OSPF, VxLAN)
- Security for IT network and applications (Authentication, End-to-end encryption,
Firewall, Proxy, IPsec, SSL, vulnerability)
- Recording solutions.
