We are now looking for a Product Business Management Trainee to join our team in our Jyväskylä office. This is your chance to get a comprehensive view and learning of international business with our customers in the middle of transition towards new technologies and business models. You will be part of the Product Business Management team and get to work closely with team members in Jyväskylä, Helsinki and France.

You get to work with meaningful tasks

You will be working together with experienced colleagues around various product portfolio management tasks like researching the target market, performing competitor benchmarking and supporting early phase activities for new business initiatives. In addition, you will contribute in preparing product marketing material and supporting product releasing. You will also have the possibility of refining product management related processes and tool improvements together with other stakeholders.

What we expect of you

You are aiming for a university degree in business, science or engineering and you have preferably completed a major part of your studies and will start your thesis work in the near future.

We value the following things in a candidate: good technical or business understanding of modern SW technologies/mobile applications/smart devices and related ecosystems, interest in marketing and product management areas, as well as sufficient presentation and documentation skills. In addition, basic knowledge on Agile/Lean methods is needed.

A fluent English language skill is a prerequisite and other languages are seen as an advantage. We expect you to be able to work with the team and network with other stakeholders. This position also requires an ability to work independently on agreed tasks and willingness to work with people from different cultures. The duration of the trainee period is 3-4 months and will start as agreed for summer 2023. The position is full-time during summer 2023 and possibility to continue part-time after that can be discussed during summer time.

The position requires basic security clearance approval from Finnish authorities.
