You get to work with meaningful tasks

We are now looking for a Customer Maintenance Trainee to join our Customer Maintenance team at our Helsinki office. Your tasks will be to improve the web based information services we provide to our customers as well as to our customer support teams internationally. It will also give you the chance to see how our help desk service works to serve our customers world wide. Additionally you have the possibility to work in our laboratories on a real telecommunication system.

Your main tasks would include updating and improving our internal web pages, updating our internal customer equipment database, updating and improving our extranet pages as well as visualizing statistics from our help desk. Some of your daily tasks could include presenting your improvement ideas to team members, communicating with our people in other countries about their wishes for improvements, as well as implementing agreed changes. In addition, you will support team members with tasks in the lab.

What we expect of you

You are aiming for a degree in for example information, telecommunication, computer science or similar and you have preferably completed courses for web-based applications. We are using Doxis, Confluence, Google sheets, and others, and we assume you are a fast learner and have no problems acquiring the needed skills for the tools we are using. A fluent English language skill is a prerequisite and other languages are seen as an advantage. We expect you to be a team worker, self-motivated, innovative, and with a touch for the customer view. Airbus is committed to offering students meaningful work experience in the early stages of their career so please note that our trainees need to have a student status throughout their employment.

The duration of the trainee period is 3-4 months and will start as agreed during spring 2023. The position is full-time during summer months.

The position requires basic security clearance approval from Finnish authorities.
