Device Engineering - Jyväskylä
The programme line Secure Land Communications (SLC) at Airbus Defence and Space develops, markets, delivers and maintains professional and land mobile radio (PMR/LMR) networks based on Tetra and Tetrapol technologies and offers a wide range of radio solutions and devices for customers worldwide, e.g. the police and rescue organizations. The programme line employs nearly 1000 people in 20 countries. In Finland, Airbus Defence and Space Oy employs around 300 people in Helsinki and Jyväskylä.
The telecommunications business of Airbus in Finland is looking for a Scrum Master to join our R&D team in Jyväskylä. As a Scrum Master you will work in international environment with product development projects. Our products are communication devices and applications for professional use to demanding public safety customers. Public safety communication is relying on TETRA technology for voice communication but at the same time extending to wide band solutions for enriching mission management with video and data services. You will be have a key position in working with products enabling the migration for the end user, whether the products are applications for LTE or future technologies or hybrid solutions combining the TETRA and LTE.
As a scrum master you communicate fluently with both business and technical people, and you have excellent co-operation skills. You have good understanding of Agile and Lean practices, and you are eager to constantly improve development processes. You have experience working in international environment.
Following skills are expected from you as a candidate for the position:
• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in electrical engineering, software or computer science
• Proven track record as scrum master
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Good presentation skills
• Strong command of both written and spoken English language
• Agile project management methodologies and tools
• The position requires basic security clearance approval from Finnish authorities
Previous experience in software development for mobile devices and applications is highly appreciated.
The position is permanent and will start as agreed.
