Following the professional evolution of our colleague within our company, we are now looking for a dynamic Trainer with telecom and IT experience to join our customer training team in Helsinki.
Main role and responsibilities
The customer training team is in charge of all trainings providing technical and user related information to our customers.
Your main role is :
- Prepare training materials for face to face trainings, for webinars and for e-learning courses.
- Conduct TETRA & Agnet training courses to our customers, but also to internal employees.
- Maintain TETRA, Agnet and IT equipment of the training classrooms and testbeds.
The role includes travelling abroad as we also conduct trainings on our customer sites.
What we expect of you
We are looking for a person with vision of tomorrow’s customer training needs. In this role you will get to introduce new ways of conducting training, e.g. develop how we conduct e-learnings and webinars. Thus skills and experience in e-learning and webinar development is a must. As a trainer you are enthusiastic about passing know-how and supporting learning and development of the clients. You are customer service oriented, technically savvy with good presentation skills. Fluency in English (verbal, reading and writing) is a prerequisite, as the customer trainings are held in English. Other language skills are considered beneficial.
From technical perspective we expect you to have:
- B.Sc. in Engineering with experience in 4G telecommunications and information technology, or similar skills
- Good knowledge in configuring internet networking protocols and equipment such as Cisco, Juniper, Linux, RedHat, VMware and Active Directory
- Good knowledge of server (Linux and Windows)
- Good knowledge of GSM/TETRA/4G telecom/radio systems and equipment
- Knowledge in information security is considered as an advantage
The position requires basic security clearance approval from Finnish authorities.
