Our Industrial Sourcing Finland team in Helsinki is looking for a Sourcing Manager. The Sourcing Manager is responsible for a portfolio of suppliers as well as sourcing activities related to projects and she / he is going to work closely with our internal stakeholders as well as with our suppliers.
Main tasks and accountabilities
- Manage the company’s supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending
- Analyze and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
- Generate and implement efficient sourcing strategies
- Monitoring continuous supplier evaluation and development
- Prepare and launch the RFQs, lead the supplier Evaluation and Selection process
- Co-operate with stakeholders to guarantee agreement on terms and processes
- Negotiate price and Set up contracts with suppliers
- Proceed the Purchase orders to the suppliers
Skills and qualifications needed
We are looking for a candidate with a M.Sc or B.Sc level degree in technical science or business administration. The candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience in area of sourcing / purchasing/ supply chain management. Successful conduct of this job requires excellent communication and negotiation skills as well as good influencing and networking skills. On top of Finnish language, working in an international company requires excellent command of both written and spoken English language. In addition, the ideal candidate is eager to learn and has a good attitude as these are central aspects for succeeding in this role.
The position is permanent and will start as agreed.
